DO I GO BACK TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED...?
Hello there, lovely 45 Not Out- ers!
I hope everyone is well and making progress with their Christmas festivities. Even if you’re not the biggest fan of Christmas (and many people aren’t), I think this time of year provides everyone with chance to rest and re-set before we launch into yet another year.
There’s nothing better, once the Christmas lunch is out of the way, than doing absolutely nothing sat on the sofa gorging on chocolate and watching cringey (but very enjoyable) films on the box.
However, at this time of year, if you’re anything like me, you can’t stop your brain wandering into next year wondering what might happen. And, more prominently, what you’ll be doing next year.
My resolutions are such that I fully intend to plough full steam ahead with 45 Not Out next year, and try and develop it into the community/platform I intend it to be and a viable business in its own right.
And, if you know my story (I may publish it again early in the New Year for all those that don’t) you’ll know that 45 Not Out started life as a podcast. I launched my podcast in 2020 with a variety of guests contributing, and ended up with around 21 episodes covering various topics. You can see the list episodes here
However, I haven’t recorded any episodes since 2021, mainly due to the fact that although they are great fun to produce, they take a lot of work and it’s very hard to earn any revenue for them. So, as needs must, I abandoned producing them to concentrate on work that generates income.
But, in recent weeks, I’ve met a handful of people who have been asking me if I can re-launch the podcast. And I must admit I’m tempted.
So, I’m throwing the question out to my lovely, lovely 45 Not Out newsletter subscribers: Should I re-start the 45 Not Out Podcast?
Some more questions for you - if I did, would you listen? Would you recommend it your friends who you know would be interested? Would you share it on social media?
The answers to these questions are useful to me to know whether it’s worth me investing time (and sometimes money) in the project. I’d love for you to get interactive with me and let me know what you think.

I also want to ask you another question, if I may? What if I could point you to a place where you’ll be around fab women who think like you, experience the same things as you and have healthy debate amongst themselves?
That place is the 45 Not Out closed Facebook Group? It’s the absolute beating heart of 45 Not Out. It’s the first place I list any news or anything that members need to know. And it’s the place where members can speak openly and honestly, knowing that what happens in the group stays in the group.
And as 2024 is going to be the year that I really ramp up 45 Not Out - don’t you want to be part of something that will its absolute best to make the changes we want to see in society?
